Morning/Afternoon, Arrive at Kigoma Airport. Meet your guide and board a boat to Gombe National Park. The boat ride along Lake Tanganyika takes approximately 1–2 hours and offers scenic views of the lake and surrounding hills. Afternoon Check-in at Gombe Forest Lodge or nearby camp. Lunch at the lodge. Evening Orientation session with the guide about park rules and chimpanzee tracking. Walk around the lodge to familiarize yourself with the surroundings.
Early Morning (6:30 AM), Start chimpanzee tracking in the forest. The guide will lead you through trails to observe chimpanzees in their natural habitat. Learn about their behavior, social structure, and vocalizations. Late Morning (10:30 AM) Return to lodge. Short rest and refreshments. Afternoon Lunch at the lodge. Optional nature walk along forest trails to see birds, monkeys, and unique plants. The guide explains flora and fauna, including medicinal plants used by locals. Evening Dinner at the lodge.
