DAY 1
Arrival in Arusha – Forests & Coffee Landscape

Arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport and transfer to a peaceful lodge surrounded by gardens or a working coffee estate near Arusha. After settling in, enjoy a relaxed afternoon walking around the lodge area or nearby farms, learning about coffee cultivation and daily life on the fertile slopes of Mount Meru. Dinner and overnight at the lodge.

DAY 2
Mount Meru Lower Slopes – Forest Walk and Waterfalls

After breakfast, depart for the lower slopes of Mount Meru. Accompanied by a professional guide and ranger, enjoy a forest walk through lush vegetation, passing waterfalls and scenic viewpoints. This area is rich in wildlife such as colobus monkeys, blue monkeys, and diverse birdlife. Return to the lodge in the afternoon for relaxation and dinner.

DAY 3
West Kilimanjaro – Maasai Lands and Wildlife Corridor

Travel to West Kilimanjaro, a community-managed wildlife corridor with wide open plains and breathtaking mountain views. Enjoy a guided walking safari led by Maasai guides, followed by a cultural visit to a traditional homestead to learn about pastoral life and conservation. In the evening, enjoy a sundowner with views of Mount Kilimanjaro before dinner at the lodge

DAY 4
Lake Natron – Rift Valley & Volcanic Landscapes

Drive through dramatic Rift Valley scenery toward Lake Natron. In the afternoon, visit Engaresero Gorge, walking through a narrow canyon to refreshing waterfalls and natural pools. Later, explore the lake shore, home to flamingos and framed by the active volcano Ol Doinyo Lengai.Dinner and overnight near the lake under star-filled skies.

DAY 5
Lake Eyasi – Hadzabe & Datoga Cultures

After breakfast, continue to Lake Eyasi. Early morning is spent with the Hadzabe hunter-gatherers, experiencing traditional hunting and survival skills. In the afternoon, visit the Datoga blacksmiths, known for their handcrafted tools and jewelry.  Relax at your lodge overlooking the lake and enjoy sunset views.

DAY 6
Mto wa Mbu – Cultural Village Experience & Departure

After breakfast, drive to Mto wa Mbu for a guided village walk and bicycle tour through banana plantations, rice fields, and local workshops.
