This seven-day Magical Kenya luxury safari takes you to the wide plains and savanna of the rift valley, home to lions and other predators. This has been combined with a selection of luxury lodges and tented camps where you will experience a first-class guest experience. You will visit Amboseli, a jewel at the foot of Mt Kilimanjaro, Masai Mara where the spectacular wildebeest migration happens, and two of the freshwater lakes in the Great Rift Valley — Lake Naivasha and Lake Nakuru.
On arrival at the airport, you will be met by our representative and briefed on your safari. After departure, you'll drive south to Amboseli National Park via Nairobi, with game viewing en-route while the immense grandeur of Mt Kilimanjaro is in the background. Lunch will be at Oltukai Lodge in Amboseli. Enjoy an evening game drive. Dinner and overnight will be at Oltukai Lodge Amboseli.
Amboseli National Park, at the foot of Africa's highest mountain, the Kilimanjaro, is one of the most popular of Kenya's national parks. Amboseli National Park provides the classic Hollywood image of Africa. Set in rolling savannah scenery, it is dwarfed by the presence of the pink-tinged, snow-capped peak of Mount Kilimanjaro which is 5,896 meters. Against this magnificent backdrop roam vast herds of elephants accompanied by lions, buffalo, cheetah, giraffe, baboon, gazelle, hippo, and wildebeest. There are also over 400 species of birds, as well as all manner of reptilian, flora, and fauna.
Another exciting day in Amboseli National Park, we recommend that you get up early morning where one can experience excellent game viewing & an unprecedented view of the snow-capped Mount Kilimanjaro. Return to your lodge for breakfast. You may opt for an additional game drive after breakfast to visit the swamp with its magnificent wildlife present all day long or simply relax at your lodge and take in the African wilderness. Afternoon game drives in anticipation of seeing the “Big Five”. Dinner and overnight will be at OlTukai Lodge.
Have breakfast at the lodge, check out, and have a game drive en-route as you leave the park. Depart and drive towards Lake Naivasha. Arrive in time for lunch and check-in at Lake NaivashaSopa Resort. In the afternoon, you have an option to enjoy a boat ride at the lake and either visit the Crescent Island Sanctuary or Hell's Gate National Park (either that you will choose). Crescent Island Sanctuary hosts herbivores like the zebra, wildebeest, giraffe, and hippo.
Hell's Gate National park hosts spectacular scenery including the towering cliffs, water-gouged gorges, stark rock towers, scrub-clad volcanoes, and belching plumes of geothermal steam, making it one of the most atmospheric parks in Africa. You will enjoy mountain biking and rock climbing. Dinner and overnight will be at Lake NaivashaSopa Resort.
Have breakfast at the resort. Depart and drive towards the Great Rift Valley viewing scenery having a stopover at the viewpoint en-route arriving at the pink lake often referred to due to its great masses of flamingos. Check-in at The Cliff Nakuru, have lunch, and after lunch proceed for a game drive in Lake Nakuru National Park with numerous animals. During the game drive, you will see the huge numbers of flamingos that are concentrated along the lakeshore. In addition to the birdlife for which Lake Nakuru is so well known, there are many different wildlife species in the park including lion, leopard, black rhino, white rhino, buffalo, Rothschild’s giraffe, zebra, impala, and waterbuck. Dinner and overnight will be at The Cliff Nakuru or equivalent.
Have an early breakfast. Depart for Masai Mara Game Reserve, which is located south along the floor of the great rift valley, then past Narok, where you will climb the western wall that enters Hemingway's country: the 'Serengeti plains'. Arrive in time for lunch at Entim Mara luxury tented camp. In the afternoon, enjoy a game drive in this famous reserve. Dinner and overnight will be at Entim Mara luxury tented camp.
Enjoy a full day at this famous reserve searching for wild game with an option to enjoy a balloon safari. You can carry picnic lunch or have lunch at the camp. A visit to Masai villages is also an option. Return to the luxury camp in the evening. Dinner and overnight will be at Entim Mara.
The Mara is the land of African legend. Lion is abundant throughout the park, as are elephants, giraffes, and a variety of gazelle species and zebra. Cheetah and leopard are also regularly seen and, less commonly, rhino. The annual wildebeest migration, one of nature's few remaining wildlife spectacles, occurs in the Mara from July to September where the big animals and their predators are to be present in abundance during the time frame of this trip. Several species of bee-eater, the flying rainbow that heads the list of Mara's birds, occur in the reserve. Along with wildlife, the Masai Mara is also home to many members of the colorful Masai tribe who may be seen around the borders of the park.
Have breakfast at the luxury camp. Depart for Nairobi and enjoy a game drive en route. A stop is provided at Narok Town, which is a Masai city where you can buy handicrafts and souvenirs.
On arrival, have lunch in Nairobi at one of the city hotels. Later you can do some last-minute shopping at one of the markets. After shopping, transfer to the airport to arrive in time for your international final departure, where your safari ends.
